Hey everyone!
So you might know I run a (public) Forgejo instance, I have added a static site hosting thing a while back. Which has been a burden to keep up and I haven't seen it being utilised by people other than me. This means I will stop offering this option when the domain for it will expire which will take place on 10/08/2025, 19:48:16.
As you can see for now my instance was open for everyone to register, well this is changing on 01/01/2025, 01:00:00 with the open registrations getting closed. This means you wont be able to register on my instance anymore. But don't worry I will be moving my open-source projects back over to GitHub so you can continue contributing.
I'm making these changes due to the fact that almost no-one uses my instance so having it fully public just adds a requirement to constantly get rid of bots and moderate the instance. Another big thing is due to it being hosten on my home server I can't easily provide a way to use ssh for git.
