<p>Hey everyone!</p>
<p>So you might know I run a (public) Forgejo instance, I have added a static site hosting thing a while back. Which has been a burden to keep up and I haven't seen it being utilised by people other than me. This means I will stop offering this option when the domain for it will expire which will take place on <code>10/08/2025, 19:48:16</code>.</p>
<p>As you can see for now my instance was open for everyone to register, well this is changing on <code>01/01/2025, 01:00:00</code> with the open registrations getting closed. This means you wont be able to register on my instance anymore. But don't worry I will be moving my open-source projects back over to GitHub so you can continue contributing.</p>
<p>I'm making these changes due to the fact that almost no-one uses my instance so having it fully public just adds a requirement to constantly get rid of bots and moderate the instance. Another big thing is due to it being hosten on my home server I can't easily provide a way to use ssh for git.</p>
<p>With that said, have some sneak peek into a post I have been working on for a year now (oops 😓):</p>

<p>It took a year and two iterations but here it is, the new design of my website. It also brings a new CDN, an actual CDN and the old one is now deprecated and will go out of service on <code>31/03/2024, 18:00:00</code>.</p>
<h2 id="the-ads"><div class="sectionLink" aria-hidden="true"><a href="#the-ads">#</a></div>The Ads</h2>
<p>You might have seen that I have ads on my site if you don't have an ad blocker, you might ask why? Well I've added the ads because running my stuff isn't free and I want to earn at least something from even if not much. I know using Google AdSense isn't really the best but I couldn't find any suitable solution for this small of a site. However if you want to put your own ad up on my site hit me up with an email and we can discuss a fair price for it.</p>

<p>Where are they? You might ask, they are <a href="https://git.theclashfruit.me/TheClashFruit/WebArchive/src/branch/main/posts">here</a>. They have been removed since this version of my site uses a way different database structure and a more organised one.</p>

<p>It's currently under development but you can check out the swagger spec <a href="https://theclashfruit.me/docs/swagger">here using my hosted GUI</a>. My <code>v1</code> API is now no longer, it now returns a <code>410 Gone</code> response.</p>

<p>I'm planning to create a mobile app around my API so you can read my rarely posted blog posts on your phone in an app, I might also add more stuff than my blogs but that's the future, who knows for sure.</p>
